Shanghai Tower (632 meters tall) Second tallest building in the world 2020
J Hotel Shanghai Tower, China. The world's highest luxury hotel​.Completed in November 2020​. Level One Entry Lobby. Shanghai Gate & Glass Colonnade​. This is a free standing architectural glass artwork. It is 8.0 m tall x 5.5 m wide x 0.8 m deep.​ This is the entry gate to the lift cores that service the J Hotel on the 101st to 130th floors​​
The Glass Colonnade at Entry Level One.The Colonnade stands at 8 meters tall including the glass lintel​.
J Hotel, Shanghai Tower.
Follow the Colonnade as it leads to the Shanghai Gate​. The Gate was built with crystal and dichroic glass bricks with special techniques developed by Stephen Gormley​.
Crystal Glass Reception Desks.
The desks were hand-cut and polished out of crystal glass slabs.
